Hi, I’m Cooper. Most days you can find me hiking out to remote locales to capture morning and evening light in the beautiful landscapes of my native mountain west. Being able to relive fleeting moments like these through film is what drew me to cinematography over 10 years ago.
Though I never planned to be a camera guy, my curiosity was piqued when I worked at GoPro cameras in San Francisco. I worked there during some of their most formative years, when they partnered with leading drone manufacturer, DJI, to invent the category of professional drones. My foray into aerial photo and video began as a result, and it became a tool I would later use to bring a unique visual perspective to Sun Valley Resort and the surrounding area, that I now call home.
My experience has been that of uncovering the personal stories that bring far-flung destinations to life, building visual narratives for brands that create connection, and capturing small moments in landscapes that reveal their greater meaning. I hope to work with you to show your story in its best light.
